Maple Grove Half Marathon 2-Person Relay:

Note: The half marathon field is now full for 2010.

The half marathon relay follows the same course as the half marathon.  The first runner will start at 7:30am with the other half marathon participants, and the second runner will be at the exchange point at the 10K (6.2 mile) mark at the southeast corner of Rice Lake.  The second leg is slightly longer (6.9 miles), and finishes at the stadium.

Medals will be given to both members of the top three finishing teams.  There are no age or gender divisions.  Each team member will receive their own race packet, finisher t-shirt, and runner bib.

Both relay participants must be at the stadium by 7:30am for the start of the half marathon. Shortly after the gun goes off, the second runners will board a bus for transport to the transition area.

After runner 1 hands off to runner 2, runner 1 will board a bus at the transition area for transport to the stadium to watch the finish.

Relay participants must use event-provided transportation.
