About Us :

The Maple Grove Half Marathon & 5K is a community race held annually in the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis, MN.  The inaugural event, held May 17, 2008, attracted approximately 650 half marathoners and 275 5K runners.  Held in the spring of the year, the half marathon is an ideal training run for those preparing for longer events such a Grandma's Marathon.

Proceeds from the race benefit the Maple Grove Lions Club, a non-profit organization affiliated with Lions International, the largest civic organization in the world.  Proceeds are used for charitable and other activities in the Maple Grove area.
